RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OPERATIONS OF FIRE
DEPART ANT PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE
OF THE CITY LIMITS

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ne,^port Beach
that the City Fire Chief and his duly authorized representatives
are hereby authorized to order any or all personnel or fire
fighting equipment of the City Fire Department to respond to calls
for fire fighting assistance in all cities and districts in the
County of Orange and outside of the City of Newport Beach, as
provided for in the Mutual Aid Fire Plan Agreement, the execution
of which was heretofore authorized by Resolution dated A
q. being Resolution No. ?�� i7 of the City of Newport
i
Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a certified copy of this
resolution be immediately sent to the State Compensation Insurance
Fund, State Building, Los Angeles, California, with a request that
such measures as may be necessary, be taken by said Fund to have
said City's Accident and Workmen's Compensation Insurance coverage
extended to cover any accidents, damages or injuries that may be
suffered by its men while engaged in,entering upon or carrying out
any of the terms of the above mentioned agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
forthwith sent to the Insurance .Carriers of the City of Newport
Beach in order that insurance coverage may be extended under tlae
terms of any existing policies to cover damages or injuries to
equipment while engaged in, entering upon, or carrying out any of
the terms of the above mentioned Mutual Aid Fire Plan Agreement,
