WHEREAS,
CARL J. WESTER and
CECELIA H. WESTER, husband

and wife, have this
day offered to the
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the

1 sum of $600.00 for
Lot 22, Block 636,
Corona del Mar, in the City
5
of Newport Beach,
as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 3, pages 41
6
7 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
8 and Lot 49, Block "B ", Tract 673, Corona del Mar, in the City of
9 Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 20, pages 17
10 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
and

12 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
13 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
15 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
16 property be sold for the said sum of $600.00; and
17 WHEREAS, the price offered is ,just, fair and adequate
18 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
19 above described.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
21 sold to the said Carl J. Wester and Cecelia H. Wester, husband
22 and wife, for the sum of $600.00, free and clear of all encumb-
23 rances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44, also
24 subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.
25 The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
26 to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said
�7 parties upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $75.00 be paid
29 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
30 of the sale of said real property to Carl J. Wester and Cecelia H.
31 Wester, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a.,fair and

reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 7th day of June, 1943, by the following vote, to —wit:
