10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ofNewport Beach
11 I deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of X925.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said Florence G. Stever, an unmarried woman, for the
18 sum of $825.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to
19 the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to conditions,
20 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
21 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
22 a deed for said property to the said. party upon receipt of the
23 consideration above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $206.25 be paid
25 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26 of the sale of said real property to Florence G. Stever, an
27 unmarried woman, as her separate property, said sum being a fair
28 and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said
29 II broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
30 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
31 visa duly and regularly passed and. adopted. by the City council of
