WHEREAS, JOSEPH QUITTNER and SYLVIA QUITTNER, husband
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
4
sum of $175,00 for Lot 14, Block 19, First Addition to Newport
5
Heights, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a map recorded
6
in Book 4, page 94 ofMiscellaneous Maps, recordsof Orange County,
7
California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
9
and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $175,00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described,
16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17

sold to the said Joseph Quittner and Sylvia Quittner, husband
19
and wife, for the sum of $175,00, free and clear of all encum-
20
brances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also
21
subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record,
22
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
23
to execute and deliver a deed for said property to thessid
24
parties upon receipt of the consideration above set forth,
25
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be paid
26
to C. F. Dennison, as and for his commission for the negotiating

of the sale of said real property to Joseph Quittner and Sylvia
28
Quittner, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach,
