RESOLUTION N0.
1HEREAS, there has this day been presented to the Oity
Oouncil of the city of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sales
Oontraot, dated October 4, 1943, by and between D. $.Blue, of
Newport Beach, Oalifornia, therein referred to as Seller, and the
Oity of Newport Beach, therein referred to as Buyer; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller sells to
the Buyer one certain 1942 Hudson 4-door sedan, Model 20 Deluxe
sedan, Motor and Serial No. 20 -8573, for the total sum of $1487.19,
with trade -in allowance of $850:00 on 1942 Ford sedan, upon the
terms, conditions and for the consideration therein stated; and
WEMWAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the Oity
Oouncil of the city of Newport Beach that it is for the best
interests and advantage of said city that said automobile be
purchased upon the terms, conditions and for the oonsideration
above set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that it is for the
best interests and advantage of the Oity of Newport Beach that
said city purchase the Hudson sedan automobile above described
upon the terms, conditions and for the consideration mentioned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Oity Olerk of
the Oity of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed,
authorized and instructed to execute said contract on behalf of
the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the Oity Oouncil of
the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
4th day of October, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
