WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Grand Deed dated
the 15th day of October, 1943, wherein LILLIAN E. BERNARD, a
widow, and ROBERT B. BERNARD, a single man, her son, grant to
the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH all that certain real property situated
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of Cali
and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That portion of the land lying between Lot Ten
(10) in Block Eighteen (16) of East Side Addition
to the Balboa Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 4, page 20 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, and the ordinary
high tide line of the Pacific Ocean, and between
the Northwesterly and Southeasterly lines of said
Lot Ten (10) produced Southwesterly to the
ordinary high tide df the Pacific Ocean.
WHEREUPON, Councilman �I/�\� —" made

a motion, duly seconded by Councilman and
carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by said City of Newport
Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same forthwith
with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote,
to -wit:

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a
true extract from the minutes of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day
of December, 1943.
