WHEREAS, a certain Assignment dated the 26th day of
February, 1944, from A. H. Rice and Lulu B. Rice, to the City
of Newport Beach, selling, assigning and transferring to the
City of Newport Beach, California, all the right, title and
interest of the said A. H. Rice and Lulu B. Rice in and to
the following described real property, to -wit:
Lots three (3) and four (4) in Block 52, Ocean Front
Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, page 12 of
maps, and as recorded in Book 574, page 99 of
Deeds, Records of Orange County, California,
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; a;
WHEREAS, on motion of Councilman ayel'1
duly seconded by Councilman Veerl& and
carried, it was ordered that said Assignment be accepted by the
City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be instructed to
record the same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to wit:
