RESOLUTION NO'S

WHEREAS, M. C. RICHARDS and VIRGINIA D. RICHARDS, husban

andwife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the

sum of $425.00 for Lot 7, Block 36, Newport Beach Tract, in the
5
City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, page
6
26 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
7
and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the sum of $425.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said M. C. Richards and Virginia D. Richards, husband
18
and wife, for the sum of $425.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
19
ces, subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year
1943 -44, and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also
21
subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.

I The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
23
I to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said partie
24
upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be paid
26
to H. M. Lane, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
27
the sale of said real property to M. C. Richards and Virginia D.
28
Richards, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30
I being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
6th day of March, 1944 by the following vote, to —wit:
