�I RESOLUTION NO;� of

WHEREAS, LILLIAN THAL, a married woman, has this day

offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $400.00 for
3
Lot 18, Re— Subdivision of Block 227, Section A, in the City of
4 I Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 36 of
5IMiscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and

WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10
property be sold for the said sum of $400.00; and
11
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED! That said property be
15
sold to the said Lillian Thal, a married woman, as her separate
16
property, for the sum of $400.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
17
ces, subject to the second 'half of the taxes for the fiscal year
18
1943 -44. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations
19
of record. The Mayor ad the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
20
directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the
21
said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City'Council of
25 ithe City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26 6th day of March, 1944, by the following vote, to —wit:
