RESOLUTION NO.�
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain license agreement
dated 3rd day of April, 1944, between the City of Newport Beach
as first party, and W. H. Ferguson as second party: and
WHEREAS, said license provides that the first party
grants to the second party a license to operate and conduct the City
Dump grounds upon certain conditions and specifications set forth
in said agreement, and for the time specified therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
Beach that said license be granted upon the terms and conditions
therein specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said contract be
and the same is hereby approved as written by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Newport Beach are hereby directed, authorized and instructed
to sign and execute said contract on behalf of said city, and the
Clerk is directed to have the party of the second part execute said
contract and the same shall thereupon be filed and become a valid
1contract as between said parties.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
ch at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of April,1944
the following vote, to -wit:
