3 WHEREAS, WILLIAM A. ULYATE, a single man, has this day
•4 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $275.00 for
5 Lot 12, Block 540, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach,
6
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscell-
7 aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach

11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $275.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said William A.. Ulyate, a single man, for the sum of
18 $275.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the second
19 half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to
20 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
21 land the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
22 and deliver a deed for said property to the said party upon receipt
23 of the consideration above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be paid
25 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
26 the sale of said real property to William A. Ulyate, a single man,
27 as his separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable
28 commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
29 `I licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
