WHEREAS, ,AENA G. FOX, a single woman, has this day

offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of X550.00 for Lot

2 and the Sally * of Lot 4, Block 534, Corona del Mar, in the City

of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41
6
and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;'

WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price

as and for the purchase price of said lot; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $550.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18
sold to the said Atena G. Fox, a single woman, for the sum of
$550.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19
20
second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subjec
21
II to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23
and deliver a deed for said property to the said party upon receip

of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $75.00 be
26
(paid to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiati
27
of the sale of said real property to Atena G. Fox, a single woman,
28
ias her separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable
29
lcommission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
30
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
