r7HEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Commissioner's
Deed on Foreclosure dated the 6th day of April, 1944, from
George H. Tobias, Commissioner, duly appointed in the action
and for the purposes set forth in said Deed and therein desig-
nated "Grantor ", which said deed grants to the City of Newport
Beach all that certain real property situate in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lot Three (3) in Block 52, Ocean
Front Tract, as per map recorded in
Book 4, page 12 of Maps, and as re-
corded in Book 574, page 99 of Deeds,
Records of Orange County, California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman aWev1 made a
motion, duly seconded by Councilman ���dl and
carried, that said Commissioner's Deed on Foreclosure be accepted
by said City of Newport Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record
the same forthwith with the County Recorder of the County of
Orange, State of California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wt:

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true extract
from the minutes of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 18th day of
