RESOLUTION NO. 3023

2 WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney of
3 he City of Newport Beach, California has prepared a contract
4 n which the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain
5 excess water of said city to STRIMARD OIL COMPANY,
6 pon the conditions, covenants and restrictions in said
7 ontract set forth; and
8 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by the
9 ity Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
10 or its acceptance and approval.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
12 ontract made and entered into the let day of APRIL 1 1944
13 y and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of
14 he first part, and STANDARD OIL COrLPANY,
15 Ls the party of the second part, wherein and whereby the City
16 f Newport Beach agrees to sell certain of its excess water
17 pon certain conditions, restrictions and limitations to said
18 arty of the second part, be and the same is hereby approved
19 s written:
20 I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
21 Ind regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
22 each at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of
23 MAY j 19 441 by the following vote, to -wit:
24 AYES, COUNCILMEN: ALLEN, STANLEY,
25 ISBELL, REED, HALL.
26 NOES, COUNCILMEN: NONE*
