WHEREAS, T. R. Benjamin and Christine Benjamin@

husband and wife as joint tenants, has this day offered to the

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of 0350.00 for Lot 2, Block 135,
4
Lake Tract, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map record
5
ed in Book 4, Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
6
County, California; and
7
UHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate
8
price as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
10
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
11
said property be sold for the said sum of 0350.00 and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and
13
adequate and is not disproportionate to the real value of the prop
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said propert
16

be sold to the said T. R. Benjamin and Christine Benjamin, husband
17
and wife as joint tenants, for the sum of 0350,00, free and clear
18
of all encumbrances, subject to the taxtrs for the fiscal year
19
20 1944 -45. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations
of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
21
directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said property to th
22
23 said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
25
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
26
held on the 1st day of May, 1944, by the following vote, to -wit:
