WHEREAS, Dallas N. Christman, a single man, has this

day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $690.00
5
for Lots 14 and 16, Block 634, Corona del Mar, in the city of
6
Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Hook 3, at pages
7
41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
8
California; and
9
WHEREAS the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 ,
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11

WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
13
deems that it is for the beat interests of said City that said
14
property be sold for the said sum of $690.00; and
15
WHEREAS the price offered is dust, fair and adequate
16
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
17
above described,
18 NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED: That the said property
19 be sold to the said Dallas N. Christman, a single man, for the
20 11 sum of $690.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
21 ;i taxes for the fiscal year 1944 -45. Also, subject to conditions,
22 ; restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
23 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
24 a deed for the said property to the said party upon receipt of
25
the consideration above set forth.

HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $100.00 be
27
paid to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the
28
negotiation of the sale of said real property to the said

30 Dallas N. Christman, a single man, the said sum being a fair and
31 reasonable commission allowed in said sale, said broker being
32 a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of June, 1944, by the following vote:
