WHEREAS, Alexander Krohn and Nellie M. Krohn,

husband and wife, as joint tenants, have this day offered to the

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $460.00 for Lot 21, Block 532,
6
Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map
7
recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
8
records of Orange County, California; and
9
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13
property be sold for the said sum of $460.00; and
14
WHEREAS the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16
above described,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18
sold to the said Alexander Krohn and Nellie M. Krohn, husband
19
and wife as joint tenants, for the sum of $$460.00, free and clear
20
of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year
21
1944 -45. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reserva-
22
tions of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby author -
23
Izod and directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said prope
24
to the said parties upon receipt of the consideration above set
25
forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be
27
paid to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negoti-
28
tion of the sale of said real property to the said Alexander
29
Krohn and Nellie M. Krohn, husband and wife as joint tenants,
30
the said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed
31
'� in said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of June, 1944, by the following vote, to -wit:
