1 RESOLUTION NO. —f-

3 THEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
4 Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain license agreement
5 dated 3rd day of July, 1944, between the City of Newport Beach
6 as first party, and J. F. Hedrick as second part; and
7 V3HEREAS, said license provides that the first party gra
S to the second party a license to operate and conduct the City
9 Dump grounds upon certain conditions and specifications set forth
10 in said agreement, and for the timespecified therein; and
11 L"IHEREAS, the City Council of the 'City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
13 Beach that said license be granted upon the terms and conditions
14 therein specified.
15 NOFi, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That.said contract be
16 and the same is hereby approved as written by the City Council
14 of the City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the
18 City of Newport Beach are hereby directed, authorized and in-
19 strutted to sign and execute said contract on behalf of said City,
20 and the Clerk is directed to have the party of the second part
21 execute said contract and the same shall thereupon be filed and
22 become a valid contract as between said parties.

24 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
25 and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
26 Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of July,
