RESOLUTION 110. -
SZHZREAS, there has been this day presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain conditional
sales contract wherein the City of Newport Beach has purchased,
under installment payment, a certain De Soto Sedan Automobile,
Serial No. 6152982, Engine No. S- 1024991, for the sum of x;1,780.67,
and Purchaser paid in on account of said purchase price a certain
Ford Sedan for the sum of xj1,131.80, and
WHEREAS, said conditional sales contract is in all
respects fair and just, and the City Council believes and deems it
to be for the best interests of said City that said automobile be
purchased under said conditional sales contract, which conditional
sales contract has been prepared by Roland Thompson, City Attorney
of said City and presented to said City Council for its considera-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said contract be
executed in duplicate by the City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor
and City Clerk of said City of Newport Beach are hereby authorized,
directed and instructed to execute said contract on behalf of said
City of Newport Beach .
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 5th day of September, 1944, by the following vote:
