WHEREAS, Ruth B. Stoever, a single woman, has this day

offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $1,500.00 for

Lot 6, Block °Pn, Tract 323, Corona del Mar, in the City of
4
Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 14, Pages 40
5
and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
6
California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach

deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $1,500.00; and
12
WHEREAS the price offered is dust, fair and adequate
13
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16
sold to the said Ruth B. Stoever, a single woman, for the sum of
17
$1,500.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
18
taxes for the fiscal year 1945 -46. Also subject to conditions,
19
20
restrictions and reservations of record.. The Mayor and the City
21
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
22
a deed for the said property to the said party upon receipt of
23
the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $150.00 be
25
paid to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the
26
negotiating of the sale of said real property to Ruth B. Stoever,
27
a single woman, the said sum being a fair and reasonable com-
28
mission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
29
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
31
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
32
Council of the City of Newport Beach,
