WHEREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 7th day
of May, 1945 from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal
Corporation of the sixth class, to ROY V. SHAFER and SUE D.
SHAFER, quitclaiming, releasing and remising to ROY V. SHAFER
and SUE D. SHAFER, all that certain real property situated in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly described as follows:
Lot 5, Block 46, Third Addition to Newport
Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3,
page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said O,uitclaim Deed is fair, dust and adequate and
not disproportionate to the actual value of the interest which
the City of Newport Beach has in and to said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City of Newport
beach that said Quitclaim Deed be executed in favor of R®Y V.
SHAFER and SUE D. SHAFER, by the Mayor and City Clerk of said
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed and authorized to execute said Quitclaim Deed on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to
deliver the same to ROY V. SHAFER and SUE D. SHAFER.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council ^?�
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof hP1_3 on
the 7th day of May, 1945, by the following vote, to-wit:
