WHEREAS, H. R. Brinkerhoff, a married man, has offered

this day to the CITY OF NnTPORT BEACH, the sum of $17,600.00

for Lots 5, 6, 7 and 6, Block 34, Re- subdivision of Corona del

Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Mao recorded in
5
'
Book 4, Page 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
6
California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach

deems, that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $17,600.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said H. R. Brinkerhoff, a married man, for the sum
18
19
of $417,600.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
20
taxes for the fiscal year 1945 -46. Also subject to conditions,
21
restrictions and reservations of record:. The Mayor and the City
22
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
23
a deed for the said property to the said party upon receipt of
24
the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $1,760.00 be
26
paid to Gerald W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the
27
negotiating of the sale of said real property to H. R. Brinker-
•
28
hoff, a married man, the said sum being a fair and reasonable
•
29
be
commission to allowed in said sale, and said broker being
30
31
a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
