there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Yer:port Beach a certain agreement dated
as of the 23rd day of July, 1945, vherein the City of 2ewport
Beach, Orange County, California, is designated the City, and
Ralph C. Flewelling is designated as the Architect; and
"HtHORS, said agreement refers to services to be per-
formed by the architect for the City of Yet:port Beach in .
reference to a City Hall to be located on proposed Site Yo. 4,
facing Central Avenue, northerly from 32nd Street, in the City
of Newport Beach, Orange County, California; and
�.HARAaB, in the opinion and judgment of the City
Council of the City of Fewport Beach the compensation to be paid
to the architect is in all respects reasonable and a fair com-
pensation for the services to be rendered by said architect to
the City of ire gort Beach; and
MAZAS, it is for the best interests of said City
and the inhabitants thereof that said contract be executed as
rritten;
i?0'.:, THIAMM, BE IT RESOLVED That the 07or of the
City of Newport Beach, and the clerk thereof, be authorized, di-
rected and instructed to execute said contract in the name of
and on behalf of the City of YewPort Beach; and that an executed
duplicate thereof be delivered to the architect, and the other
executed duplicate filed in the office of the City Clerk of
said City.
