.:HER AS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Fewport Beach a certain agreement dated
the 15th day of October, 1945, between the City of "_ewport Beach,
therein referred to as the "City", and Tore L. Gogo, therein
referred to as the "Contractor"; and
7. -H R}.:AS, said agreement provides that the City has
awarded to the Contractor the contract for the furnishing of all
required labor, equipment, igaterial and services (exclusive of
pipe, fittings and gate valves) required for installing approxi-
mately 5,850 lineal feet of 2411 diameter concrete cylinder pipe,
complete in place, and for the furnishing of all labor, equipment
and services (exclusive of pipe and steel casing) required for
installing 72 lineal feet of 2411 diameter pipe between Station 56
Plus 99 and Station 57 plus 71, across State Highway, crossing
complete in place, for the ;rice set forth in the Contractor's
proposal on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
1X,2'?LEAS, said agreement specifically sets forth the
teruis, conditions, and price for the doing of said work; and
:HrJ`FUAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
contract be executed and that the work therein specified be done
by the Contractor upon the terms and conditions therein specified;

directed, authorized and instructed to execute said agreement on
