RESOLUTION N0. 0 5
WHEREAS, it appearing by the statement of J. A. Gant,
City Auditor of the City of Newport Beach, that the property de-
scribed as all that certain real property situated in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
titularly described as follows:
That portion of property vacated by the City of
Newport Beach lying between Lots 899 and 900 of
Tract 907, and between Via Lido Soud and Newport
Bay
belongs to the City of Newport Beach, and said properties are pub-
licly owned and constitute street ends of said City of Newport
Beach; and
WHEREAS, it likewise appearing that said J.A.Gant has
quested the City of Newport Beach to order the taxes cancelled on
the assessment rolls of the City of Newport Beach, on the property
herein mentioned, for the reason that said property has been
erroneously taxed by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT B2SOLVED that the City Auditor and
Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to cancel all of said taxes on
the real property heretofore described, on the assessment rolls of
the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly nassod and adopted by the City Council of the City o:
Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council
