The matter of equalizing salaries came up for disoussion,
Councilman Isbell suggesting that in some of the departments an
inorease in salaries should be allowed and moved the adoptionf of
a resolution, being a resolution inoreasing in the amount of $25.00
per month, effective May "1, 1946 the salaries of the following:
John J. sailors, Administrative Officer, J. B. Webb, City Engineer,
John D. McMillan, Water Supt., L. W. Covert, street Supt., A. M.
Nelson, Building Inspeotor, Eugene Fenelong, Aset. Building Inspeotor,
and E. B. Whitson, Electrical Inspeotor. The motion for adoption
of the resolution was duly jeoonded by Councilman Allen, the
resolution designated Resolution No. 3319 and was passed by the
following roll Call vote, to.wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Isbell, Reed, Robertson, Siler.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
