RESOLUTION N0. Q
A grant deed dated the 12th day of April, 1946, from
T. B. Talbert and Margaret E. Talbert, husband and wife, to the
City of Newport Beach, a Municipal Corporation of the Sixth Class,
granting to the City of Newport Beach, all that certain real
property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1. A strip of land containing 0.111 acres,
more or less, being a portion of Lot Eight in Block One
Hundred Forty -five, Canal Section, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, Page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, 50 feet in width measured
at right angles, more fully described as follows:-
Commencing at the intersection of Northwesterly line
of Channel Place and the Northeasterly line of Coast
Boulevard, 40 feet in width (formerly Lake Avenue), as
shown on said Map; thence North 370 13' 30" West 123.50
to the most Westerly corner of said Lot Eight; thence
along the Northeasterly line of said Lot Eight, having
a bearing of South 820 21' 30" East, a distance of
70.55 feet to a point in a line parallel to and 50 feet
distant, measured at right angles from said Northeasterly
line of Coast Boulevard; thence South 370 131 30" East
from said point 52.80 feet to the Southeasterly line of
Lot Eight; thence Southwesterly along said Lot line, a
distance of 51.13 feet to the most Southerly corner of
said Lot Eight; thence North 790 20' 30" West along the
aforementioned Northwesterly line of Channel Place, a
distance of 18 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2. A strip of land having an area of 0.138
acres more or less, lying in Section Twenty -nine, Town-
ship Six South, Range Ten West, S. B. B. & M., adjoining
and Northeasterly of Coast Boulevard, 40 feet in width
(formerly Lake Avenue), as shown on a Map of Canal Section,
recorded in Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, more fully described as
follows:
Commencing at the most Westerly corner of Lot Eight
In Block One Hundred Forty -five, Canal Section, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, Cal ifornia, said point
lying in the Northeasterly line of said Coast Boulevard;
thence Northwesterly along a curve concave to the North-
east, having a radius of 230.79 feet, to a radial line,
having a bearing of North 700 201 East and tangent to
said curve; thence North 170 4o' West 66 $b 35 feet to a
point; thence South 740 15 21" East 34.feet to a
radial line on a curve having a bearing of North 560 021
34" East, said curve having a radius of 1010.00rteet;
thence Southeaster l�yy along said curve to a radial line

thence Louth 370 131 30" East 97.41 feet to a point in

Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations,
restrictions, rights and rights of way of record.
Also pubject to taxes for fiscal year 1946 -1947,
not yet payable,
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman ;%,Ck � made a motion, duly seconded
by Councilman(it�Q�7_11 and carried, that said Print Deed be accepted
by said City of Newport Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record
the same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County,
California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote,
to -wit:
