WHEREAS; Roy H. Keem and Hazel E. Keane, husband and

wife as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, has this day
•

offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $75.00 for the
5
Southerly jO feet of the Easterly 1 foot of Lot 11, Block j,
6
Balboa Bayside Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page
'
7
79 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
8
and
9
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11
WHEREAS, the City.Council of the City of Newport Beach
12
deems that it is for the beet interests of said City that said
13
property be sold for the said sum of $75.00; and
14
WHEREAS the price offered is just, fair, and adequate
15
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property above
16
described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18
sold to the said Roy H. Keene and Haze1.E. Keene, husband and wife
19
as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, for the sum of
20
75.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes
21
for the fiscal year 1946 -47. Also subject to conditions.;. restric-
22
tions and reservations of record. The-Mayor and the City Clerk
23
are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed
24
for the said property to.the said party upon receipt of the con -
26
sideration above set forth.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Reso-
27
lution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the.City
28
Council of the City of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof
•

held on the 5th day of August, 1946s by the following vote, to -wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and iiiaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 3361 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 5th day of August , 1946, by the following
vote, to wit:
