IMEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Easemment Deed from
IRVINE. BEACH AND COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, LTD., a Delaware corporation
to the City of Newport Beach, wherein said corporation grants to
the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, an easement and
right -of -way, for storm drain purposes, in that portion of Tract
No. 1116 as shown on map recorded in Book 36, Pages 19 and 20 of
Miscellaneous Records of said County, described as follows:
and,
PARCEL 1: Those portions of Lots 121 to 128, inclusive,
of said Tract No. 1116, described as follows:
Beginning at the point in the Northerly line of said Lot
128 distant South 65° 351 4511 East thereon 31.72 feet
from the most Northerly corner thereof; thence South
520 271 0011 West . to a point in the Southwesterly line of
said Lot 128; thence South 220 141 1211 West 90.19 feet
to the point of intersection with a line which is parallel
with and distant 10 feet Easterly, measured at right
angles, from the West line of Lot 126 of said Tract No.
1116; thence South 70 481 3011 East along said parallel
line and the Southerly prolongation thereof to the inter-
section with a line which is parallel with and distant
Southeasterly 10 feet measured at right angles from the
Westerly line of Lot 123 of said Tract No. 1116; thence
South 210 301,West along said last mentioned parallel
line to the intersection with the Southerly line of Lot
122 of said Tract No. 1116; thence Southwesterly in the
direct line to the most Westerly corner of Lot 121 of
said Tract No. 1116; thence Northerly along the 7esterly
line of said Tract No. 1116 to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: That portion of Lot 101 of said Tract No.
1116, described as follows: A strip of land 3 feet in
width being the Northeasterly 3 feet of the Southwesterly
8 feet of said Lot 101.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has accepted said
Easement Deed;
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Deed aforesaid
be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City of Newport Beach,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, directed, and instructed
to record said Easement Deed immediately in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
