WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Grant Deed from
CLARA J. SCHROEDER, a single woman, to the City of Newport Beach,
wherein said party granted to the City of Newport Beach, a munici-
pal corporation, all that certain real property situated in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:

Lot Thirteen in Block One Hundred Forty -one of Canal
Section, Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recored in
Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrict-
ions, rights and rights of way of record.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has accepted said
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Deed aforesaid
bey and the same is hereby accepted by the City of Newport Beach,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, directed, and instructed
to record said Deed immediately in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting hereof held on the
