WHEREAS, there.has been this day presented,to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Grant Deed from
MATILDA E, GRIGGS& formerly Matilda E. Balcer under which latter
name she derived title to the hereinafter described proper.tlea,
to the City of Newport Beach, wherein said party grant to the
City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange. State of California, described as follows:

The Northwesterly 35 feet of the Southeasterly 65 feet
of Lots Twenty -three and Twenty -four in Block One -
Hundred Thirty -four of Lake Tract, as shown on a Map
In Book 4, page 13 of Miscellaneous, records of Orange
County, California.
Subject to covenants., conditions, reservations,
restrictions, rights and rights of way of redord.
Subject also to Taxes for fiscal year 19146 -19470 not
yet payable.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has accepted said
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Deed aforesaid
be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City of Newport Beach,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorlied, directed, and instructed
to record said Deed immediately in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duty and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
