RESOLUTION N0314 10
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Newport Beach
has this day prepared and presented to the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach a certain license agreement between the City of
Newport Beach and 0. M. Campbell, which license agreement refers
to the granting to 0. M. Campbell by the City of Newport Beach of
the exclisuve license and privilege of selling tickets and the
loading and unloading of passengers to and from sport fishing boats,
live bait boats, and water taxies, and the loading and unloading
of groceries and fishing gear at the pier or wharf extending into
the waters of Newport Harbor at 19th Street in the City of New-
port Beach, and also the exclusive privilege of using the lands
adjacent thereto and described in said agreement, for moorage and
anchorage purposes and the parking of cars thereon; and
WHEREAS, the consideration offered for said license is,
in the opinion and judgment of the City Council of the City of New-
port Beach, fair, just and adequate for the license granted to
said licensee, and that it is for the best interests of said City
and the inhabitants thereof that said license be given to said
Licensee upon the terms, conditions, and rentals in said license
agreement specified and set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach instructs, authorizes, and directs the
Mayor of said City to sign said license agreement in the name of
and on behalf of said City, and that the City Clerk be authorized
to attest said agreement with the seal of said City affixed thereto,
and that upon the execution of said agreement by both the City and
the Licensee, an executed copy thereof be delivered to Licensee,
and the other executed copy be filed with the Clerk of said
City.

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
