WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain lease dated the
12th day of November, 1946, wherein Henry Luxembourger and
Luxembourger are Lessors and City of Newport Beach is
Lessee, and wherein Lessee leases from Lessor the following
described property:
That certain real property situate in the City of
Newport Beach, Orange County, California, and more.
particularly described as Lots 9, 10, and 11,
Block 20, First Addition to Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, said lease is, in the judgment of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, necessary for the proper
conduct of the municipal affairs of said city_, and that the amount
paid therefor or agreed to be paid therefor by the Lessee to the
Lessor is the reasonable rental value of said property; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion and judgment of the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, said lease should be executed as
presented;
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed, and instructed to
sign said lease in the name of and on behalf of said City, and
that the Clerk be authorized, directed, and instructed to attest
said lease on behalf of said city.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said lease, upon its
execution by Lessor and Lessee, be immediately recorded by the
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
