RESOLUTION 113- 1 1
WHEREAS, Griffith Company, a- corporation, has tn_ day
deeded to the City of Newport Beach a certain easement for storm
drain purposes and public utility purposes in the City of Xevrpoit
Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has heretofore held
a certain easement for stoxm.drain purposes and public utility
purposes._in and to the l ,-.nds and premises described in that oertain
Quit Claim Deed from the City of Fewport Beach to Griffith Company,
a corporation; and
WHEREAS, the storm drain now in and anon the easement
described- in said Quit Claim Deed from the City of PTevrnort '_'each
to Griffith Company; a. corporation, Will be transferred. t the
expense of Griffith Company to the new rasement Franted by Griffith
Company to the City of Newport Beach this day; and -
WHEREAS) it appears for the best interests of the City
that the City use such new easement in lieu of ;and stead of the
easement described in the Quit Claim Deed herein referred to.

interest of said City that the'City of Newport Bench grant to
Griffith Company, a. corporation, by Quit Claim Deed the following
described easement heretofore held_ by the City and located to the
City of Newport Beach;, Orange County, California.:
All that certain four (4) foot ,easement lying two (2)
feet on each side of the'oenter line of Via Cordova. as said
easement and Via Cordova are shown upon e man of Tract Nn.
907 recorded in Boek•28, paves 25 to 36 inclusive of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Ora.np :e County, California, Pnd er-
tend.inr between a line four (4) feet Southwesterly of -nd
parallel with the Southwesterly line of Via Lido Soud rnd
the Southwesterly line of said Tract 116. 907, spid Via Cor-
dova. havinrr been ?bandoned by Resolution No. '1781 of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach, a cony of said
Resolution No. 1701 was recorded April l7th, 1940 in Boolr
1045, page 73 of Offici�.l Records of said County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized, in-
