RESOLUTION NO. 3432
WHEREAS, there,has this day been presented to the City
Counoil of the City of Neeq)ort Beach a certain Deed of Easement
dated the 23rd day-of December, 1946, . between Pacific Electric
Railway Company, a California corporation, therein designated
Party of the First Part, and the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal
Corporation of the State of California, therein designated Party
of the Second Part, which Deed of Easement covers all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, in Orange
County, California, and more particularly described as follows,
to wit:
A strip of land 2 feet In -width extending across
that certain real property 60 feet wide described in
deed to the Pacific Electric.Railway Company and the
adjacent 40 feet, being the northeasterly 40 feet of
that real property described in deed to the Los Angels
Inter -Urban Railway Company, recorded respectively in
Book 785, Page 453 of Offiolal Records, and in Boob.
139, Page 9 of Deeds in the Office of the Recorder of
.Orange County. The center line of said strip being
described as follows:
:Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly
prolongation of the center line of 58th Street, 30 feet
wide, with a line parallel to and distant norther- sterly
5 feet., measured at right angles, from the southwesterly
line of Seashore Drive as per Flap of Ocean Front,Tract,
recorded in Book 4, Page 12, of Miscellaneous baps, in
.the office of the Recorder of said County; said parallel
line having a bearing of N. 550 35' W-; thence N. 30 37'
E: 270.2 feet to a point in the center line of existing
sewer:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that said Deed of Ease --
Iment be accepted upon all the terms, covenants and conditions
thereof, by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHR RESOLVED: that the mayor and City Clerk
lof. said City be authorized, directed and instructed to execute
said Deed or Agreement of Easement on behalf of, and in the name
lof the City of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the City Clc•rk be directed
(land instructed to forthwith .record said Easement in tho Office of

the County Recorder of Orange County, California, and that he
return to the said Pacific Electric Railway Company, a California
corporation, an executed copy thereof.
The above and foregoing Resolution No. 3432 was passed
at an adjourned regular meeting of the City.Council of the City
of Newport Beech, held on the 27th day of January, 1947; by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Siler, Isbell, Robertson, Reed

ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a
true and correct copy of Resolution No. 3432 on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach and that said
Resolution'and Deed of Easement have been duly recorded in the

in Book 1484, Page 96 Official Records of Orange County, Californi .
