CJHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City

Council of the City of Newport Beach by the United States of
•

America a Supplemental Agreement terminating the term of a certain
4
lease covering the following described roal property, to -wit:
5
Those certain parcels of land, partxly improved
and partly unimproved, fronting on Newport Bay
6
and California State Highway, (U. S. Highway)
A -101), approximately one mile Southeast of the
7
junction of Newport Road and California State
Highway in City of Newport Beach, County of
8
Orange, State of California, as shown on clap
9
Drawing No. 1 -329 attached thereto and made a
part thereof and more particularly described as
10
Parcel No. 1 and Parcel No. 2, together with im-
provements thereon,

Containing a total area - land 4.984 acres, -
improvements 5757.35 square feet;

AND FJHEREAS, the consideration in lieu of restoration is
14
just, fair and adequate in the judgment of the City Council;
15
AND t7H.EREAS, it appears for the beat interests and wel-
ls
fare of the said City and the inhabitants thereof that the
17
Supplemental Agreement terminating a certain existing lease between
18
the City of Newport Beach and the United States of America, dated
19
the 31st day of August, 1945, as modified be executed by the said
20
City in favor of the said United States of America;
21
NOVJ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
22
Clerk of said City be and they are hereby authorized, directed and
23
instructed to execute said Supplemental Agreement terminating the
24
term of the existing lease with the United States of America, in
25
reference to the lands heretofore described, in the name of and on
26
bohalf of the City of PJovport Beach, and that the requisite number
•
27
of copies of the executed Agreement be sent forthwith by the Clerk
28
of the City f Newport Beach to the
y proper agencies of said United

States of America.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
