RESOLUTION NO.
"'Y,EREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between
the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, as party of
the first part, and therein referred to as "City ", and the
Newport Dredging Company, a corporation, of Nevrport 3each,
California, party of the second part, and therein referred to
as "Contractor "; and
TIHE. ?FAS, said Ar;reement provides that the party of
the first part sells to the party of the second ;Dart a certain
8 inch suction dredge belonging; to said City, for the sum of
ilq 500.00, s--id purchase price to be paid by labor performed
or otherwise as in said agreement _provided; and
`,,'hE..EAS, in the opinion and judgment of the City
Council of said City of Newr)ort -each the consideration offered
for said property is in all respects fair, just �.nd adequate;
idol;", THEREFOzE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the i_ayor and
the City Cleri of the City of Newnott Beach be and they are
hereby instructed, directed and authorized to execute said - ,Zree-
ment in duplicate in the name of and on behalf of the City of
idewn -ort Beach, and that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed
cony thereof to the Newport Dredging Company and that the other
executed copy th reof be filed in the records in the office of
the City Clerk of said City.
I hereby certify that the above and forer;oing Resolu-
tion was duly end regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a reular meeting thereof
