2 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
3 Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Contract wherein
4 the City of Newport Beach is therein designated "City" and Traut-
5 'rein Bros. are therein designated "Contractor ", which said contract
6 is dated may 26, 1947, and refers to the awarding of the contract
7 for the doing of certain work to the said Contractor, in oonneotioa
8 with the existing repairing of the
p g fi nger -slip platforms, and the
9 reconditioning of existing wood pontoons wherever possible, and
10 the construction of new pontoons; and
11 SAS, the said Trautwein Bros. were the successful bidders
12 for the doing of said work of improvement, and the contract has
13 been duly awarded to them by the City Council of the City of New -
14 port Beach;
15 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the
Mayor and City Clerk
16 of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and instructed
17 to enter into a written contract with the said Trautwein Bros. for
18 the doing of the work herein mentioned, in accordance with said
19 Trautwein Bros. written bid and the plans and specifications herein
20 on file.

22 I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
23 regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
24 Newport Beach at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
25 26th day of May, 1947, by the following vote, to -wit:
