RESOLUTION NO. 3507
WHEREAS, a Grant Deed from Mollie J. McKinney, A Widow, to
the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, dated the 17th
day of July, 1947, granting the City of Newport Beach all that
certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
A right of way or easement for the purpose of the erection, laying
and construction of a pipe line or pipe lines to convey sewage,
together with manholes and appurtenances, with the right of going
in, under and over the premises hereinafter described for the purpos
of repairing, maintenance, and replacement of said pipe lines, man-
holes and appurtenances, in, over and under that certain real
property described as follows, to wit:
A parcel of land being a portion of Lots 1, 3 and 5, Block 7 6_
Corona Del Mar Tract, as said tract is shown upon a Map reco
ed in Book No. 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Records,
of Orange County., California, four (4) feet in width lying
two (2) feet each side of measured at right angles, and
adjacent to the following described center line; beginning
at a point in the Southwesterly boundary of Lot 1, said
point being thirty (30) feet distant from the Southwest
corr_er of Lot 1; thence Northeasterly and parallel with the
Northwesterly boundary of said Lots to a point of intersecti n
with the Northeasterly boundary of Lot 5.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
that the consideration for said deed is fair, just, and adequate.
WHEREUPON, Councilman Allen made a motion, duly seconded
by Councilman Isbell and carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted
lby said city, and the City Clerk instructed to record the same
forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Siler, Isbell,
Robertson, Reed
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true extract from
IMinutes of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regu-
lar meeting held on the 28th day of July, 1947.
