WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain corporation grant
deed dated the 12th day of September, 1947, wherein the City of
Newport Beach grants and conveys to Cal M. Fuller and Dolores L.
Fuller, husband and wife, as joint tenants, that certain real prop
erty situate in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, and described as follows, to -wit:
The Northwesterly 65 feet of Lots Twenty -two and
Twenty -three in Block One Hundred Thirty -three
of "Lake Tract, Newport Beach ", as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 4, page 13 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations,
restrictions and rights of way of record.
Subject also to taxes for fiscal year 1947-
1948, not yet payable.
and,
4JHEREAS, the consideration to be received for said deed
from the said Cal M. Fuller and Dolores L. Fuller, husband and
wife, is the sum of 0475.00, and the granting to the City of
Newport Beach, free and clear of all encumbrance, that certain
real property situate in the City of Newport Beach, Orange County,
California, and described as follows:
The Southeasterly 30 feet of Lots 21 and 24
in Block 133 of "Lake Tract, Newport Beach ", as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 13 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
and,
WHEREAS# the City of Newport Beach needs said property last
described for the purpose of widening Coast Boulevard in the City
of Newport Beach, Orange County, California; and

WHEREAS, the consideration offered for said lands first
above described to the City of Newport Beach is in the opinion aadl
judgment of the City Council of the City of Newport Beaoh, fair,
just and adequate and not disproportionate to its actual market
value; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that it is for the best interests of
said City that said land be conveyed by said City to Cal M. Fuller
and Dolores L. Fuller, husband and wife, as joint tenants, for the
consideration herein set forth;
NOW TEWMORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and instruot -I
ed to execute said deed for and on behalf of the City of Newport
Beaoh, and that the same be immediately recorded when title shall
be brought down on the property owned by Cal H. Fuller and Doloresll
L. Fuller, husband and wife, showing the same to be clear and free,
of all encumbrances, except taxes for the fiscal year 1947 -48,
not yet due or payable.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newp rt Beach at a regular meeting of the City Council held

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 6th day of October 9 19479 by the following
