WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City Council

of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Grant Deed from R.L.WARD and PATTIE B.

WARD, husband and wife, to the City of Newport Beach, wherein said parties

grant to the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, all that certain
5
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange. State of
6
California, described as followst

Lot One in Block One 8undred.Thirty -eight of River Section, Newport
Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 25 of Miscellaneous
8
Maps, records of Orange County, California.

Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions and
rights of way of record.

Subject also to taxes for fiscal year 1947 -1948, not yet payable.

WHEREAS. the City of Newport Beach has accepted said Deed=

NOW, T8 JM, BE IT RESOLVED that said Deed aforesaid be,and

the same is hereby accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is

hereby authorised, directed, and instructed to record said Deed immediately in
16
the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was

duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
20
Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the a day of,j3ovemmbex
