RESOLUTION NO. 116 L
WBERZAS* Derrell A Kingsbury and Yvonne L Kingsbury, husband and
wife as joint tenants, has this day offered to the CITY OF XO PORT BEACH, the
sum of $1,700.00 for the Lot 13 and NEly 3.57' of Lot 14 Block 140, Canal Sec-
tion, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, Page
98 of Miscellaneous Napa, records of Orange County, California= and
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair end adequate price as and for
the purchase price of said lot; and
TiMM .S, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that
It is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the sa
sum of $1, 7= 00; and
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and is not
disproportionate to the real value of the property above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDs That said property be sold to
the said Derrell a Kingsbury and Yvonne L Kingsbury, husband and wife as joint
tenants, for the sum of $1,700.00 free and clear of all encumbrances, subject t
the taxes for the fiscal year 1948 -49. Also subject to conditions, restriction
and reservations ofrecord. The MWor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised
and directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said property to the said
party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED$ That the alum of $:170.00 be paid to W.
Foote, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of said real
property to Derrell A.RKingsbury and Yvonne L Kingsbury, husband and wife as
joint tenants, the said gums being a fiar and reasonable commission to be allow
In said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport
Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Bee
at a regular postponed meeting thereof held on the 22nd day of March, 1948, by
