RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, all records now in storage in the basement of the
City Hall Building in the City of Newport Beach are no longer re-
quired by the City of Newport Beach for any purpose; and
WHEREAS, said records so stored as aforesaid, do not affect
the title to real property or liens thereon; and
WHEREAS, the records heretofore mentioned in this Resolution
are not records of the Police Court, nor are they any required to
be kept by State statute; and
WHEREAS, all of said records aforesaid are more than five
years old; and
WHEREAS, the Minutes, Ordinances and Resolutions of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach are not contained in, or
stored in said basement aforesaid;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Manager of the
City of Newport Beach be, and he is hereby, authorized, directed an
instructed to destroy by burning, all records now in storage in the
basement of the City Hall Building in the City of Newport Beach; an
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said records so stored in said
basement aforesaid, are not and will not be required for any pur-
pose by the City of Newport Beach; and are not records required to
be kept by virtue of Section 1225 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
24th day of May, 1948, by the following vote, to —wit:
