RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, by virtue of the traffic ordinanoe,and the motor
vehicle code of the State of California, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach are allowed and permitted to desiGnate one-
way traffic;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That in 'U"hat portion of the
Island
City of Newport Beach known as Balboa, the City Council directs
and designates one -way traffic on various streets in and on
Balboa Island as follows, to -wit:
Emerald Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Garnet Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
South bound traffic only.
Pearl Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Agate Avenue between Park Avenue and North Speedway -
South bound traffic only.
Opal Avenue between South Speedway and Collins Avenue -
North bound traffic only.
Topaz Avenue between South Speedway and Collins Avenue -
South bound traffic only.
Turquoise Avenue between South Speedway and Park Avenue -
North bound traffic only.
Ruby Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Diamond Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
South bound traffic only.
Sapphire Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Coral Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
South bound traffic only.
Apolena Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Amethyst Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
South bound traffic only.
Onyx Avenue between South Speedway and North Speedway -
North bound traffic only.
Abalone Avenue between South Speedway and Abalone Place -

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief of Police of the
City of Newport Beach be directed, authorized and instructed to
post and paint in the manner required by said traffic ordinance,
and the Motor Vehicle Code of the State of California, said streets
designating the direction of traffic thereon, and that said streets
are one -Naar streets for traffic as above designated.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meot1% thereof held on the ;2/-7-day
