RESOLUTION N0. 3615 -A
WHEREAS, a Grant Deed from J. S. BARRETT to the City of
Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, dated the 18th day of
August, 1948, granting the City of Newport Beach all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orang
State of California, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
An easement or right of way for the purpose of construction,
erection and laying of a pipe line or pipelines to convey storm
water, with the right of going in, under and over the premises
hereinafter described for the purpose of repairing, maintaining and
replacing of said pipe lines, in, over and under that certain real
property described as follows, to -wit;
Parcel No. 1.
The northwesterly five (5) feet of the southeasterly 500
feet except the northeasterly 150 feet of Lot A, Tract 919 as said
tract is shown upon a Map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 29,
pages 31 to 34, records of Orange County, California.
Parcel No. 2.
A strip of land 5 feet in width lying 2.5 feet each side of
and adjacent to the following described center line, beginning at a
point in the southwesterly line of Lot H of said Tract 919, said
point being 452.5 feet, North 610 00' West of the southerly corner
of said Lot H; thence North 290 00' East to an intersection with the
southwesterly line of the 100 foot right of way of the California
State Highway ORA - 60 A.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems
that the consideration for said deed is fair, just, and adequate.
WHEREUPON, Councilman Isbell made a motion, duly seconded
Iby Councilman Greeley and carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted
by said city, and the City Clerk instructed to record the same
with with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Greeley, Robertson, Isbell, Blue, Drake
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN:
None
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true extract from
lthe Minutes of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a
regular meeting held on the 23rd day of August, 1948.
