-MBEAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Nem. ort Beach a, certain Deed of Easement
dated the 13th day of September, 1948, wherein the City has grant
to Gladys Sidler and Frances Edith Sidler an easement for a limit
period of time in and over certain property belonging to the City
of Newport Beach, and more particularly described as follows, to-
,,:
A parcel of lane. lying in Hay Avenue, in the City of
Newport Beach, California, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 1,
Block 13, Balboa Tract, as said Balboa Tract is
shorn on page 11, Book 4 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California; thence along
the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly
line of said Lot 1 a distance of 6.15 feet; thence
Southeasterly to a point, said point being on the
Northeasterly prolongation of the Southeasterly
line of said Lot 1 and distant 5.50 feet from the
most Easterly corner of said Lot 1; thence South-
westerly along said Northeasterly prolongation of
said Southeasterly line to said most Easterly corner
of said Lot l; thence Northeasterly along the
Northeasterly line of said Lot 1 to the point of
beginning;
WHEREAS, in the opinion ena Judgment of the City Council the
consideration for the easement is Edequate, rand it is further the
opinion and judgment of the City Council that it is for the beet
interests of said City that said easement be gr»nted for the per-
iod of time mentioned therein;
NOWt THMWORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Cl
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and instruotet
to sign and execute said easement on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach, and that said deed of easement be delivered to Grantees
upon the execution thereof.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Count4l of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
