RESOLUTION NO. 3623 -A

WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City Counc#
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement dated the
day of 1948, between the City of Newport Beach, there-1
in referred to as "City", and Sully Miller Contracting Company, a
California Corporation, therein referred to as "Contractor "; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the City has awarded
to the Contractor the contract for the construction of portland
cement concrete curbs and gutters, grading and the paving with plant
mixed surfacing of San Bernardino -Cliff Drive from Coast Boulevard,
Route ORA -60A to Riverside Avenue, about two - tenths (0.2) miles in
length all within the City of Newport Beach as contemplated in a
Resolution
, of the City of Newport, for the prices set
forth in the Contractor's Proposal on file in the office of the
City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said agreement specifically sets forth the terms,
conditions and prices for the doing of said work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
that it is for the best interests of said City that said contract
executed, and that the work therein specified be done by the
for upon the terms and conditions therein specified;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed,
authorized and instructed to execute said agreement on behalf of
,the City of Newport Beach, and that a duly executed copy thereof be
delivered by the City Clerk to the Contractor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
II regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of
September, 1948, by the following vote, to -wit:
