RESOLUTION NO. 3625
WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 27th day of Septem-
ber, 1948, from the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation,
to Allen R. Mitchell, granting to said Allen R. Mitchell all that
certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
Block 144 of "Canal Section, Newport Beach ", as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
Excepting that portion thereof lying Southwesterly and
Westerly of a line described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Southeasterly line of said
Block distant thereon 25 feet Northeasterly from the
most Southerly corner thereof; thence Northwesterly
along a line parallel to and 25 feet distant, measured
at right angles, from the Southwesterly line of said
block to the beginning of a curve tangent concave to the
East having a radius of 5 feet, said curve also being
tangent to the Northeasterly line of said block; thence
along the arc of said curve to said point of tangency
to said Northeasterly line.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
1 offered for said Grant Deed is fair, just and equitable and not
!disproportionate to the actual value of said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
that it is for the best interests of said City of Newport Beach
said Grant Deed be executed in favor of said Allen R. Mitchell by
the Mayor and City Clerk of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and the City
(Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be and they hereby are directed,
instructed and authorized to execute said Grant Deed on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to
deliver same to said Allen R. Mitchell.
I hereby certify that the above, foregoing Resolution has
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the Ci
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on September 27,
1948 by the following vote, to -wit:
