• RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TT$ CITY OF
IMNIORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA
0:?LrMING THE WORK MSCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF
Ur NTION NO. 3617
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 19110, being
Division 7 of the Streets and highways Code of the State of California,
does resolve as follows:
That the public interest and convenience require the work
hereinafter mentioned to be done and therefore the said City Council
hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be
made in said City, to -wit:
The construction of sanitary sewer mains and sewa a pump
stations, together with appurtenant work in connection with any and
all items of improvement hereinabove mentioned, in Central Avenue
at the intersections of "A" Street and Fourteenth Street, all as
more particularly described in Resolution of Intention 110- 36179
passed and adopted by the City Council of said City on the 13th
day of September, 1948, and on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City.
For further particulars, reference is hereby made to said
Resolution of Intention Ido. 3617 and to the plans, profiles and
drawings on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City of
• Newport Beach, and to the specifications for the said work hereto-
fore adopted by the said City Council and on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City, and all of said plans, profiles, drawings

and specifications heretofore approved by the City Council of said
City are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and reference
is hereby made thereto for a more particular description of said work.
Said City Council has deter -Idned and declared that the
contemplated work and improvement heretofore mentioned „as, in the
opinion of said City Council, of more than local or ordinary public
benefit and the said City Council has made the expenses of said work
chargeable upon a district. For the particular description of the
said district, reference is hercoy made to said Resolution of
Intention No. 3617,
Said City Council has determined and declared that serial
bunds, representing unpaid aesessmente and bearing interest at the
rate of five per cent (5';) per annum, shall be issued hereunder in
the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond r.ct of 191511, being
Division 10 of the Streets and Filuiayj Code of the State of California,
the last instailmnt of which bonds uhall mature two (2) years from
the second day of July next succeeding ton (10) months froii their date.
All of the .cork herein ordered shall be done and carried
throa ,rh in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of
California, designated the " Improvement ,mt of 1911 ", being Division 7
of the Streets and Iii-nays Code.
The Gler. of said City 9,q hereby directed to pout oonspicuously
for five (5) daja on or near the ol=bor door of the City Council, in
the manner and form rcoui-(.-d by said Codo, a Notice inviting Sealed
Proposals or lade: for doing the .,fork herein ordered, and the City
Clork is hereby directed to Publish twice in "The F.swnort- Balboa Press ",
a weekly newspaper, published and circulated in said City and hereby
designated by the said City Council for that purpose, a Notice Inviting
such proposals or bids for doing the said work and referring to the
specifications on file.

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
