RESOLUTION N0. 3634
A RESOLUTION MTROVING 14 AP SKOW7NG PORTION OF
ABALONE DRIVE IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
PROPO'3FD TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED.
WHEFEASp the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map showing a portion of a certain street which the City
Newport Beach proposed to vacate, close up and abandon in Tract 7
City of Newport Peaoh, County of Orange, State of California, and
described as follows, toy -wits
Beginning pit the southeasterly corner of Lot 50 Tract No, 742
as said Tract is shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous
Daps, Book 23, Page 420 records of Orange County, California;
thenoe, northeasterly to a point said point being the
Intersection of the easterly prolongation of the northerly
line at said Lot 5 and a line lying two feet measured at
right angles easterly of and parallel with the easterly 1lns
of Lots b, 7, 9 g, 10, 11 12 and 13 of said Tract No. 742;
thence, northerly nlon�^ said parallel Sine to ran intersection
with the southeasterly prolongation of the northeasterly line
of said Lot 13; thence, northwesterly along said southeasterly prolongation to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 13 thence,
southerly along the easterly line of said Lots 13, 12, 11, 10,
9, 9, 7, 6 and 5 to the point of beginning.
NOV TWIEFOR , BF IT RESOLVED that said map be, and the
same is hereby ajzproved, and the City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach is ordered and directed to file the same in the proceedings
for the abandonment of a portion of said street, and that said map
be used in connection with the Resolution of Intention this day
passed in reference to the abandonment of said portion of said
The above and foregoing Resolution No. 3134 was passed
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
held on the 25th clay of October, 1949, by the following vote,
